Download YouTube in 1080p and 4K with audio
Open SaveTube →A sharp video should arrive with sound. SaveTube uses 1 credit per download above 720p, and the available quality depends on the original video.
Why do some HD downloads have no sound?
YouTube may provide video and audio as separate streams. Saving only the video stream produces a silent file. SaveTube joins both streams into an MP4 with audio, without re-encoding the picture.
Choose 720p, 1080p, 2K or 4K
| Option | Useful for | SaveTube cost |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 720p | Smaller files and phone screens | Free within the daily allowance |
| 1080p | More detail on monitors and TVs | 1 credit per download |
| 2K / 4K | Larger screens, when available | 1 credit per download |
Step by step
- Copy a public video link that you have permission to download.
- Paste it into SaveTube and click Analyze.
- Review the available resolutions. A 720p original does not gain real detail by being converted to 4K.
- For high resolution, sign in with your email and check your balance. Credit checkout shows the currency, quantity and total before payment.
- Select the resolution and start downloading. Wait for the audio and video streams to be joined.
Why can high resolution take longer?
Higher resolutions usually produce larger files. Stream preparation and the device’s connection also affect the time. Follow the tool’s progress; no fixed completion time is promised for every video.
If the MP4 does not play
Check that the download completed and try a compatible player. Support for the original codec varies across devices. If needed, choose a lower resolution offered by the source. Preserving original data does not guarantee playback in every player.
What a credit does not do
It does not unlock private, age-restricted or region-blocked videos, or increase the source’s real resolution. MP3 audio uses the free option; select audio-only when you do not need the picture.
